Review of infringement notices

If you receive an infringement notice you may apply for a request to review the decision under certain circumstances (refer to Section 22 of the Infringements Act 2006(PDF, 149KB)).

This application must be in writing and received within 20 working days of the date in which the incident, notice, or matter occurred. The application for review must:

  • Provide the applicant's name and address
  • State the grounds on which the decision should be reviewed.

 

Please note: Requests to review a notice to comply, a permit or a permit application can only be made once.
