Council has committed to the following grant programs for the current financial year to encourage local participation, economic vibrancy and wellbeing:
Only one application per organisation/group is permitted per financial year across all of the streams.
Please contact the Community Development Team on 03 5358 8700 to discuss your idea prior to completing an application and to make sure you select the most suitable funding stream.
The Community Grants Program provides applicants with the opportunity to undertake locally-based projects that can demonstrate a positive impact on health, wellbeing and community participation.
The Events Grants Program provides applicants with the opportunity to host local events that; address local needs, encourage civic participation, celebrate community, boost the economy and increase visitation to the Northern Grampians Shire.
The Minor Grants Program provides businesses, sole traders, community groups and individuals with the opportunity to apply for specific one-off projects.
The Sponsorships and Contributions Program provides the opportunity for locally-based groups and organisations to run projects that support community wellbeing, encourage community participation or bring economic benefit to the Northern Grampians Shire. Applicants can request a sponsorship or contribution of up to $3,000 per annum with a maximum of a three-year term.
Neoen Australia, owner of Bulgana Green Power Hub, is committed to contributing to the Northern Grampians Shire community by providing financial support to community groups to build capacity and grow the region. Each year, through the Bulgana Green Power Hub Community Fund, Neoen Australia will invest funds in groups/organisations through an open and competitive process.
