Volunteering

Giving back to your community

We have a pool of valuable volunteers who help serve our community, but we are always looking for more. Council relies on volunteers to deliver many services to the community.

Visitor Information Centre Volunteering

General information

Meals are delivered five days a week and take roughly 25-30 minutes to deliver depending on how many meals are required that day. Meals are delivered at 11.30am each day from Grampians Health in Stawell and East Wimmera Health Services in St Arnaud.

You can volunteer as much or as little as you want, which can be one day a week, one day a month/year, whenever it suits you, we appreciate any help.

If you are interested in being a Meals on Wheels volunteer, please give the Community Care Team a call on 03 5358 0514 to get yourself an information pack and the correct paperwork.

Volunteers are the backbone of the Meals on Wheels program and without them we cannot provide this fantastic service to our clients in need.
