Why register your event with NGSC?

Promotion: Your event can be promoted across the shire through the events calendar on this website and posters displayed in Shop 108 Stawell.

Safe: When you fill out an event registration form, we will send this to relevant departments within council. This ensures the correct departments are aware and therefore that you have the correct permits and permissions to run your event.

Support: Throughout the planning process, we will assist you, providing guidance to ensure your event is a success. If you are looking for advice, you will be able to contact us over the phone or in-person.

Northern Grampians Shire Council aims to attract, promote, and support festivals, events, and activities that add value to the shire's economy in accordance with our NGSC Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan 2017-21.

Northern Grampians Shire provides the perfect backdrop for events throughout the year. Major events within the shire, such as the Stawell Easter Gift and Grampians Grape Escape, draw large crowds from across the country and are not to be missed.

With community events continuing to increase, council is happy to perform as an active support role to assist smaller events to transform into major attractions. We are here to support you.
