Council's Tourism Events Grant provides funding up to $10,000 to support event organisers with hosting tourism focused events which boost economic growth in Northern Grampians Shire. Applications close on Monday, March 9, 2026.

Halls Gap Neighbourhood House
The Resource Centre is also a Centrelink and Medicare Agency and operates “St Arnaud FoodShare” a food bank service.
The cottage provides emergency relief assistance to those in need in Stawell and the region, including immediate basic needs in times of financial crisis whilst maintaining the dignity of those who seek help. Food aid and a limited amount of coupons for the supermarket, chemist, fuel, V/Line, second-hand clothing, overnight accommodation and meals are available.
The cottage is located at 20 Sloane Street, Stawell VIC 3380 and is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 10am and 12.30pm.

Centre Grampians Local Learning and Employment Network provides a variety of programs, resources and connections to programs and partners to help young people to stay engaged in school and pursuea career that’s right for them. Programs include L2P, Structured Workplace Learning, Engage Mates Mentoring and Freeza. CGLLEN works across the Stawell region.
