Three and Four Year Old Kindergarten Enrolments Now Open for 2022

Three and Four Year Old Kindergarten programs are now open for enrolment at Northern Grampians Shire Council’s Early Learning Centre in St Arnaud paving the way for pre-school aged children to enjoy two funded years of play-based learning in the Victorian kindergarten system.

Online Gallery Launch for Children’s Week 2021

To mark celebrations for Children’s Week 2021, Northern Grampians Shire Council Mayor Cr Murray Emerson will launch an online art exhibition on Wednesday 27 October displaying children’s art works from around the shire. Children’s Week is held annually nationwide in October to recognise the talents, skills, achievements and rights of children.

Council adopts its Annual Report and Key Plans

An online council meeting was held on 25 October 2021 at 12.30pm to consider the Annual Report 2020-21, the Financial Plan 2021-31 and the Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan 2021-25. Council meetings continue to be held online via Teams Webinars as a consequence of Coronavirus restrictions but will hopefully return to open council meetings soon.

Park Plays are hosted by the Northern Grampians Shire Council and will be held every week in Term 4.

Enjoy sensory play, art/craft and share a story at the Park. Each child with take home a play kit !

Bookings are essential and we welcome families with children from 0-5 years.
