All forms of e-waste (anything with a plug, cord or batteries) is currently free to deposit at the St Arnaud Transfer Station.

Help us out! Please make sure you place your e-waste into its correct bin. This will make the sorting and processing step much easier, and the recycling much more efficient.

NOTE: Items that require degassing (fridges, freezers and air conditioners) will still come with a fee.

There will be a Deposit Box located in the foyer at the Stawell Town Hall. This deposit box will accept any small e-waste items that can fit through the cut-outs in the top. Anything that doesn't fit in the Deposit Box must be taken to a transfer station.

Some items that can be deposited in the boxes are:

• Phones
• Batteries (Excluding car batteries and other large batteries)
• Chargers
• Cords
• tablets/e-readers
• laptops
• keyboards, mice and computer accessories

NOTE: lights and light bulbs are not accepted in the e-waste deposit boxes
