Northern Grampians Shire Council held an unscheduled meeting on Monday 20 September at 12.30pm. Due to Coronavirus restrictions the meeting was held using Microsoft Teams and live streamed to Council’s YouTube channel.
At the meeting Council considered two items - the Annual Report 2020-21 and the Instrument of Delegations authority.
In accordance with section 132 (2) and (5) of Local Government Act 1989, Council approved in principle the Financial and Performance Statements that form part of the Council’s Annual Report 2022-21 and authorised Crs Emerson and Erwin to certify the statements in their final form after any changes are recommended or agreed to by the Auditor General.
Council also delegated powers, duties and functions for various legislation in revised Instruments of Delegation to the Chief Executive Officer and council staff following recent legislative amendments.
The report will be available for viewing and download following the unscheduled Council meeting of 18 October.
