Connecting Better Working Together
Halls Gap Community Response Planning Workshop

ALL HALLS GAP RESIDENTS, LANDHOLDERS, BUSINESS OWNERS AND STAFF ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND

Following on from What’s The Plan, the community bushfire planning session held in Halls Gap on Tuesday 24 January, we are pleased to announce a second workshop Connecting Better, Working Together.

What’s The Plan was a huge success, with 60 participants from the wider Halls Gap community, emergency agencies, and council in attendance. Participants gained an understanding of emergency myths and realities, including the limited availability of local agency resources during emergency response.

Connecting Better, Working Together is designed to continue discussions around community emergency planning and will include:

  • Clarification of agency roles and responsibilities
  • Key issues identified for Halls Gap and possible solutions
  • How to develop a community response plan
  • Connecting with others in your community

You don’t need to have attended the first session to join this workshop.
