The VEC must at least 10 days before theclose of the rollpublish a public notice stating the following— (a) the close of the roll; (b) who can apply to enrol; (c) how they can apply to enrol; (d) how a person can check their enrolment.
The Victorian Electoral Commission must ensure that the voters' roll, as certified under section 249 of the Local Government Act 2000 and incorporating any amendments certified under section 250, is available for inspection by members of the public from the day the voters' roll is certified until one month after the election day. (2) The certified voters' roll must be available for inspection— (a) at the locations; and (b) at the times; and (c) in the format— determined by the VEC.
