Northern Grampians Shire residents can influence council's 2026/27 budget by reviewing and providing feedback on the proposed council plan year two priorities. This process is different from previous years where residents traditionally had an opportunity to provide submissions to a draft budget. Feedback closes at 4pm Wednesday, February 4, 2026.
Welcome to the Northern Grampians Shire! We love our backyard and know you will too.
To help make your transition into our community a smooth one, we have collated a bunch of helpful information across areas such as our local businesses, our various sporting and community groups, and local health organisations such as our medical centres and hospitals. We have also included information about our local townships which make our region so special, and important council services you will likely need at some point in the near future.

We collated this material based on information we know people seek out when they move somewhere new, but that's not to say we've not missed something important too. If you have a suggestion for us to consider for our next edition, please email it to business@ngshire.vic.gov.au and we'll review it.
