At December's council meeting in St Arnaud, council resolved to review future community care service options in light of sweeping aged care sector reforms. The decision follows Federal Government changes to the way aged care services are funded and delivered, with new rules coming into effect in November. You can find more via the link below.
Council manages a number of open spaces, such as sporting reserves, that are available for use by clubs, organisations and individuals throughout our community for various types of events including sporting games and training, school sports days, and fun runs.
Please note, council's general public areas such as the North Park Skate Park, Market Square and Cato Park playground are not available to be booked for exclusive access.
If you or your group would like to book any of the above spaces and facilities, please select from one of the following options:
Regular users of council reserves do not have an assumed booking of reserve and must complete the online form(s) on each occasion of use, however this may be requested on a seasonal basis by attaching a list of dates to the request.
Please be aware that several buildings on council reserves are leased for exclusive use by organisations, such as the Central Park Clubrooms for example. If you require the use of a leased council building, please contact the organisation who leases the premises directly to make arrangements. Council can help direct you to the appropriate contact if required.
