Council to review community care services

At December's council meeting in St Arnaud, council resolved to review future community care service options in light of sweeping aged care sector reforms. The decision follows Federal Government changes to the way aged care services are funded and delivered, with new rules coming into effect in November. You can find more via the link below.

Council structure, study and safety projects

Council investigates, plans and delivers a range of projects across the shire throughout the year. This includes projects such as council flood studies and action plans to ensure we can appropriately plan for and sometimes mitigate against future events, as well as road safety projects and new community amenities to improve and enhance our way of life.

St Arnaud Integrated Early Years Service

The council has now established the Stakeholder Reference Group (SRG) for the St Arnaud Integrated Early Years Project. The group comprises of a diverse range of stakeholder representatives, including three community members, and will serve as a vital conduit for community input.

The Navarre Community Plan provides ideas, activities, and actions to guide the direction for community-led initiatives and alignment to the council's strategic plans, and to guide vision-making for infrastructure, community programs, and service delivery until June 2025.

2025/26 Safe Local Roads and Streets Program

Navarre Recreation Reserve | New Changerooms & Upgraded Function Space

This project involves the development of new changerooms and upgrading of the existing function and social space. It will be a significant improvement for the Navarre Sports Association and broader local community.
