Council will advocate for aged care services in the municipality to be transitioned to local service providers, namely Grampians Community Health and East Wimmera Health Service, following a decision made at the July council meeting in Stawell. There are no immediate changes to any services for current clients and no action required for now.
There are two first class Secondary Colleges within the Northern Grampians Shire. Our Schools consistently return fantastic results for students undertaking their VCE or other training certificates. These schools develop the future leaders of our community, with many of our students winning national and state awards for a variety of achievements including sport, community, volunteering and the arts. Our students have the time and space to commit to their studies and flourish in our inspirational environment.
