Council has four funding streams open for applications for eligible community, sporting and not-for-profit groups with suitable event, initiative or project ideas. Our Community Events Grant, Minor Support Grant, Community Events Sponsorship and Community Sponsorship are open until all available funds have been allocated.

Expressions of Interest are invited for suitable contractor/s to be considered for the position of Northern Grampians Shire Council Fire Prevention Contractor. Contractor/s capable of performing tasks for fire hazard clearance and fuel mitigation works for the duration of council’s 2026-27 fire hazard inspections period are encouraged to apply.
Tasks may include mowing, slashing, vegetation removal, and garden maintenance. The works will be at various locations throughout the Northern Grampians Shire and will be available from late November / December 2026.
Successful appointment of a contractor to the position of Fire Prevention Contractor does not guarantee any quantity, extent, or continuity of work for any contractor. More than one contractor may be appointed to the position of Fire Prevention Contractor.
