Council will advocate for aged care services in the municipality to be transitioned to local service providers, following a decision made at the July council meeting in Stawell. The role of Director Community Prosperity is currently vacant following the resignation of former Director Justine Kingan. This page will be updated on the appointment of a new Director who will be responsible for leading the development, communication and evaluation of council frameworks, strategies and policies that support the delivery of economic development, strategic planning (land use, recreation plans, Council Plan and Public Health and Wellbeing Plan and coordination of ot her long-term plans, government partnerships, community development, community engagement and the delivery of innovative projects.
