At December's council meeting in St Arnaud, council resolved to review future community care service options in light of sweeping aged care sector reforms. North Park has a brand new multipurpose facility and asked our community to help us choose the best name for this building.
At the 28 June Council Meeting, Council formally named the facility as North Park Community Sports Centre.
Council undertook a community poll of three suggested names to provide an opportunity for community members to participate in the council decision making process, as set out in our Community Engagement Policy. The preferred name was North Park Community Sports Centre.
