At December's council meeting in St Arnaud, council resolved to review future community care service options in light of sweeping aged care sector reforms. The decision follows Federal Government changes to the way aged care services are funded and delivered, with new rules coming into effect in November. You can find more via the link below.
Mental Health First Aid Australia is coming to Stawell to present another round of Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) training, facilitated by Ash Mulvogue and Cass Jeffrey.
The training will be a two-day course open to all community members aged 18 and over who are interested in learning how to provide mental health first aid to the young people in their lives. The training will take place on Wednesday the 6th and 13th of August, from 9:00AM to 5:00PM.
Morning and afternoon tea will be provided.
