Take Another Breath – Grampians is more than just an event. It's a two-day celebration of resilience, regional pride, and recovery—designed by the community, for the community.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Grampians, this special gathering was born from the spirit of renewal following the devastating 2024/25 Pomonal bushfires. It brings people together to showcase what makes this region so remarkable—its passionate producers, talented musicians, and resilient small businesses.

The event features live performances from some of the best regional acts, a diverse range of artisan stalls, kids activities and locally sourced food and wine. But more than that, it aims to drive visitation to Pomonal and surrounding areas, helping boost the local economy and build a sustainable future for this emerging annual event.

Wherever possible, Take Another Breath taps into local expertise—from food and wine producers to operational services—keeping the focus firmly on supporting Pomonal, Ararat and the wider Grampians region. 

Opening Night Dinner at Barney’s
Friday 20 June | 6.30pm – Late

An Italian-inspired 4 course sit down feast prepared by Barney’s own Italian chef Altin Muhameti, featuring the best local produce paired with wines made from Italian varieties—carefully selected by sommelier Simon Freeman—poured by local winemakers from Black & Ginger Wines, Fratin Brothers, and SubRosa Wines, who will be in attendance to share their stories.

Main Festival Day at Barney's
Saturday 21 June | 12pm – Late (TBC)

• Live music all day: Featuring Orange Whip, The Doodads, The Double Agents, DJ Tom Connor, and Riley Mason, with MC Russ Kellett.

• Food Trucks: Valhalla BBQ, The Snack Shack (seafood) and Barney's will be serving some special treats.  

• Artisan + Producer Market: Over 20 stalls showcasing winemakers, food artisans, and local makers.

• Kids Activities - Bucking Bull, Face Painting, some special visitors from the Halls Gap Zoo and more.

Concerned about the weather? Don't be, there will be plenty of marquee shelter along with fire drums to warm your hands and feet.
