OUT of ABINGDON have numerous tours to Europe and the UK under their belt, playing jazz clubs in Edinburgh, Berlin and Paris. They are darlings of the Australian East Coast Festival and venue circuit where they’ve built a loyal following.
Playing at Savannah in the Round, Brisbane Festival, Brisbane International Jazz, the GAS, Wallaby Creek Music, Wintermoon, Northern Australia Festival of Arts and Black Mountain Unplugged in QLD, NSW’s Kiama Jazz & Blues, Illawarra Folk, Peak Music, VIC’s Bendigo Blues & Roots, St Kilda Blues and Tassie’s Cygnet Folk have been some of the highlights of recent years.
The diversity of festivals and venues where they are welcomed, is a reflection of the scope of OUT of ABINGDON’s (OoA) musical appeal. With influences from Stevie Ray Vaughan to Bjork, to jazz and contemporary greats, OoA are not easy to pin to a genre, but their musicianship and genuine love of playing shines.
