At December's council meeting in St Arnaud, council resolved to review future community care service options in light of sweeping aged care sector reforms. The decision follows Federal Government changes to the way aged care services are funded and delivered, with new rules coming into effect in November. You can find more via the link below.
Over the Easter school holidays, Parks Victoria rangers will be leading nature-based activities in Grampians (Gariwerd) National Park for Junior Rangers aged 6-12 years old. Our program includes activities such as Bush Detective, Bird Brain, Flora Explorer, Storytime and Art in the Park which will give Junior Rangers and families the opportunity to learn more about the local flora and fauna whilst having a fun time.
Please bring water, sunscreen, insect repellent, and wear enclosed shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather.
All Junior Ranger activities are suitable for children age 6-12 years, who must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is 18 years or over.
