Banyena Hall Committee

The Mick Thomas Winter Solstice Ball at Banyena Hall is designed to strengthen social connection and belonging in their rural community. The event will bring together residents from Banyena, surrounding districts and from afar for a shared evening of live music and celebration, creating a positive, welcoming space where people can reconnect, meet new faces, and feel part of something larger than themselves.

 

By re-activating Banyena Hall as a lively winter gathering spot, the project will help reduce social isolation, especially for those living on farms or in our small regional towns to reinforce the hall’s role as a central hub for connection, inclusion and community identity. The Ball will be inclusive and family friendly, encouraging participation from people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.
