2027 Grampians Easter Arts Trail

The Grampians Easter Arts Trail is coming back in 2027 and will feature both permanent and temporary arts and culture-related attractions across the shire.

The trail will stretch across the shire and include artists, galleries, murals, sculpture, Augmented Reality installations and more.

Council is inviting galleries and local artists to be involved. Open studios are welcome to be included on the trail. Local arts and culture groups are also encouraged to be a part of the trail and can apply for an Arts and Culture Grant to develop projects that can be included in the trail.

Example projects include temporary public art installations such as an exhibition in an empty shopfront; a light installation; a series of artworks displayed in a lane; an artwork or infographic about town history as a shopfront window decal; an installation in a park or garden; or any number of creative activities.

Artworks, galleries and open studios will need to be accessible to the public to visit over the Easter 2027 period.

Development of the trail is in the early stages. Interested people are invited to contact Tina Baker at tina.baker@ngshire.vic.gov.au or on (03) 5358 8772 to discuss their ideas.
