Council's Moving Outside the Lines youth project leaders have announced the program's first event - a Dodgeball Showdown!

Young people aged between 12 and 18 are invited to participate in the showdown at Stawell Sports and Aquatic Centre on Sunday, October 25 from 11am to 2pm.

This is a gender-inclusive event where everyone is encouraged to participate, have fun and support one another.

Dodgeball is a fantastic way to move your body while having a laugh and creating some fun memories.

Moving Outside the Lines is a youth-led recreation project that gives young people the opportunity to shape active recreation activities and programs across Northern Grampians Shire.

Funded by VicHealth, this 18-month initiative aims to empower young people aged 12 to 18 to have a voice in decisions that affect their community.

Participants will work alongside council to co-design and deliver activities that encourage young people to get active and make the most of local spaces such as parks, libraries and sporting facilities.
