Council has four funding streams open for applications for eligible community, sporting and not-for-profit groups with suitable event, initiative or project ideas. Our Community Events Grant, Minor Support Grant, Community Events Sponsorship and Community Sponsorship are open until all available funds have been allocated.

Redevelopment of the indoor stadium and gym component of Stawell Sports and Aquatic Centre, including two netball-sized courts, upgraded gym and group fitness areas, accessible toilets and additional storage.
The current stadium comprises a single basketball court and is fully booked during the week, limiting access for community sport and recreation. The gym is ageing and does not provide adequate heating and cooling. The change facilities are ageing and have accessibility limitations.
$14 million for redevelopment of the indoor stadium and gym.
