Following on from the success of our Northern Gramps Girls Can campaign last year where council lit up exercise spaces in the early mornings, several of the shire’s sporting facilities are due to light up again in 2026. Between May 4 and September 30, spaces in Stawell and St Arnaud will light up from 6pm to 7.30pm on Monday and Wednesday evenings, and from 6am and 7am on Wednesday mornings.

U3A Stawell is a group for semi-retired and retired people to connect, based on the University of the Third Age an organization beginning in France in the 1970's.
U3A in Stawell has grown into a strong group with friendship our highest drawcard.
We offer a good program of skills including Creative Writing, Drama, Traveler's Tales, Art and Craft studies and Music.
We have Book Club, Cards for Fun and Coffee Club.
We like to visit places of interest, enjoy long lunches, bushwalks and Garden Days.
