Council will advocate for aged care services in the municipality to be transitioned to local service providers, namely Grampians Community Health and East Wimmera Health Service, following a decision made at the July council meeting in Stawell. There are no immediate changes to any services for current clients and no action required for now.

In 2014, council undertook a centre infrastructure expansion project to increase the capacity from 3 rooms to 4 rooms to cater for long day care and kindergarten programs.
The previous CFA shed site has been cleared to make way for a nature playspace to be built, expanding the centre's playspace area. The space has been designed to allow the children to explore, interact and play with natural elements including water play.
This project has been supported significantly by the Kindergarten and Fundraising committee.
