Council has four funding streams open for applications for eligible community, sporting and not-for-profit groups with suitable event, initiative or project ideas. Our Community Events Grant, Minor Support Grant, Community Events Sponsorship and Community Sponsorship are open until all available funds have been allocated.

Looking for fun things to do with the kids these school holidays? Check out activities from our libraries, Stawell Sports and Aquatic Centre and other places and spaces around the shire.
We have new temporary pop up parks in Stawell and Halls Gap that need naming and the public were invited to get creative and submit their idea for the naming of these spaces.
Entries have now closed and we thank those who contributed with their ideas.
The lucky winner/s with the successful name will win a $200 hospitality prize voucher.
