Council has released its Advocacy Prospectus 2026 which outlines where the organisation will focus its advocacy efforts to state and federal governments, particularly in the lead-up to November’s State Election. Council will advocate for aged care services in the municipality to be transitioned to local service providers, namely Grampians Community Health and East Wimmera Health Service, following a decision made at the July council meeting in Stawell. There are no immediate changes to any services for current clients and no action required for now.
This expo is one-stop shop opportunity for St Arnaud community to meet with council staff and have their say on a host of Economic and Community Futures projects and plans for St Arnaud.
