Neoen Australia, the owner of Bulgana Green Power Hub, invests funds each year to the Northern Grampians community through an open and competitive funding program overseen by the advisory panel.
The advisory panel is responsible for ensuring the fund complies with all legal and regulatory requirements, that funds are allocated in a consistent, fair and transparent manner and the projects and activities funded meet with the funding eligibility criteria.
Northern Grampians Shire Council Mayor, Cr Murray Emerson, encourages community members with knowledge or expertise in one of Neoen’s community growth areas to put their hand up to be a part of the advisory panel. He said, “Neoen’s six growth focus areas for our shire are environmental sustainability, health and wellbeing, strong connected communities, sport and recreation, arts and culture and skills, education and training.
We have community members with those skills and they are needed.
Applicants will be selected based on merit, skills and expertise and consideration will be given to a diverse representation of views and backgrounds including gender, abilities, age and culture.
Applications close on 14 May and if you would like more information or an application form please contact Rachel Whittaker, Council’s Community Development Officer on 03 5358 8700 or rachel.whittaker@ngshire.vic.gov.au.”
