Council has multiple funding streams open for applications for eligible community, sporting and not-for-profit groups with suitable event, initiative or project ideas. The annual "Thanksgiving to the Vintage" will be held at Best's Wines/Great Western on Sunday 26th April (12pm - 3pm). Will include wine, food and entertainment plus the traditional grape stomping. This year will see the addition of a Plant, Produce & Preserves Table plus selected Stallholders ... plus activities including the old-fashioned tug of war, bocce ball, bean bag toss and kids' games. Entry is $10 which includes complimentary glass of Best's wine to 'Toast the 2026 Vintage" plus entry into the Lucky Vintage Prize drawn on the day. This event is proudly supported by Christ Church - Great Western and Best's Wines.
