Council has four funding streams open for applications for eligible community, sporting and not-for-profit groups with suitable event, initiative or project ideas. Our Community Events Grant, Minor Support Grant, Community Events Sponsorship and Community Sponsorship are open until all available funds have been allocated.

The Stawell Orchid Society Spring Show is the annual platform for orchid growers in the Northern Grampians Shire and surrounds have the chance to show the beautiful orchids they have cultivated.
Orchid Display Stands are judged by accredited OSCOV and RHSV judges prior to the opening and Medals Trophies and Sashes are awarded.
The Show is open to the public over 3 days 18 - 20 September where patrons can see potting demonstrations talk to society members about growing their orchids and enjoy a lovely Devonshire Tea.
Orchid plants are available for purchase while stocks last.
