Celebrating our Seniors | Stawell and St Arnaud
To coincide with Seniors Month, council is taking the opportunity to celebrate positive ageing and encourage our senior residents to take advantage of the opportunities available to you in Northern Grampians Shire.
Both Northern Grampians Libraries in Stawell and St Arnaud and Stawell Sports and Aquatic Centre offer a range of activities for seniors year-round.
These activities encourage people to stay physically and mentally active as they age, while providing opportunities for ongoing social connection. You can click on the various links below for more information about what is available, when.
As a special treat for Seniors Month, Stawell Sports and Aquatic Centre is offering free centre access for seniors on Monday, October 26.
The day involves activities including Active Ageing and Gentle Aqua classes, morning tea, gym access and pool access.
The event starts at 10.30am. For a full timetable, you can click here.
