Council's annual Animal Registration Notices have been issued to pet owners with fees due by Friday, April 10. If your animal is deceased or its details have changed from those on the registration notice, please call us on (03) 5358 9096 to update your records. The annual Great Western Good Friday Rodeo has been a staple event in people’s calendars for over 25 years, bringing people from all over Victoria and neighbouring states to our regional country town.
With live rodeo action available from 3pm onwards, and plenty of onsite food and beverage options, it’s a fun day out for the whole family to enjoy.
A live band will kick-off once the rodeo action concludes meaning you can dance the night away under the stars.
There is also free onsite camping and a recovery breakfast available from 7.30am for those wanting a safe place to pull up for the night, with an egg and bacon sandwich helping to kick-start you the next morning.
This is a strictly no BYO event with a family-friendly enclosure available. We also kindly ask that you leave your doggo friends at home as they are not permitted inside the official event grounds.
