Council has released its Advocacy Prospectus 2026 which outlines where the organisation will focus its advocacy efforts to state and federal governments, particularly in the lead-up to November’s State Election. Council will advocate for aged care services in the municipality to be transitioned to local service providers, namely Grampians Community Health and East Wimmera Health Service, following a decision made at the July council meeting in Stawell. There are no immediate changes to any services for current clients and no action required for now.
St Arnaud Saints and Sinners Bicycle Ride Weekend.
Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 October 2022.
Fully supported ride on all sealed roads with all meals included for $140 per person.
Day 1:
Two Ride Options for Saturday. Main ride to Navarre for lunch and for those wanting a longer ride, you can go via Barkly and complete an additional 23 kilometre loop.
Evening meal will be in St Arnaud at Liberty Hall, RSL.
Staying overnight in St Arnaud where riders are to organise and book their own accommodation.
Day 2:
Sunday after breakfast, ride to Stuart Mill - water stop only - then on to St Arnaud.
Lunch will be held back at St Arnaud.
