Council's annual Animal Registration Notices have been issued to pet owners with fees due by Friday, April 10. If your animal is deceased or its details have changed from those on the registration notice, please call us on (03) 5358 9096 to update your records. The CFA/VFBV State Firefighter Championships stands as a cornerstone in CFA’s rich history, representing a cherished tradition upheld with great pride. Championships offer brigades and members a chance to engage in various simulated firefighting activities, spanning from the classic to the modern, all within a safe and competitive setting. 2026 will be the first year Stawell has hosted the combined event of Urban and Rural state championships, showcasing the differing skillsets required by each to respond to their primary incident types. The Market area will be lively, featuring displays on the latest updates from many innovative CFA programs including CFA's trucks, in all sizes, will be on display for kids and enthusiasts alike. The atmosphere full of camaraderie, team spirit and determination, while an array of food and beverage trucks will keep you energised. Note, the evening of Saturday 29 March involves brigades from across the State participating in the traditional Torchlight Procession with a march along Main Street, Stawell.
