Following on from the success of our Northern Gramps Girls Can campaign last year where council lit up exercise spaces in the early mornings, several of the shire’s sporting facilities are due to light up again in 2026. Between May 4 and September 30, spaces in Stawell and St Arnaud will light up from 6pm to 7.30pm on Monday and Wednesday evenings, and from 6am and 7am on Wednesday mornings.

Lock this into your social diary! The Great Western Rodeo is back for another year - get ready for some good old-fashioned fun! There will be plenty of action all day, bring a hat and chair to make yourself comfortable. There will be plenty of food and drink vendors with clothing vendors also available. There is a dedicated family area as well which is an alcohol exclusion zone to ensure everyone can have a great time.
Tickets can be purchased either online here or at the gate, however we recommend getting them online to avoid missing out as there is a strict attendance cap.
