2026 Northern Grampians Easter Festival

Easter in Northern Grampians is something to look forward to each year. An annual tradition of vibrancy, atmosphere and connection.

We are excited to welcome back visitors, families and friends to celebrate and connect once again, all while supporting our local businesses and service providers.

Our regular major events including the Morris Transport Great Western Rodeo, Thomas Foods Stawell Gold Cup and Stawell Gift are returning, along with family favourite - the Stawell Lions Club Easter Carnival. These along with many other activities provide a chance to reconnect and discover more about our great region.

Find out exactly what's on and where via the brochure below. You can also download a PDF copy of this material here

You can also check out our events calendar to find further information about Easter events as well!

Easter fireworks

As part of council's annual Easter program, there will be fireworks on Saturday, April 4 at 8.30pm at Cato Park in Stawell. While we know many people love fireworks, we appreciate many of our pets do not. You can find some helpful tips from the RSPCA about caring for your pets during fireworks, here

Please be aware there will be an 'exclusion zone' in place at the park 15 minutes prior to the fireworks and throughout the fireworks display. This will result in the toilet block, playground and some of the walking tracks being closed. Access to each side of the lake would need to be via the walking track on the Napier Street side of the lake.
