Northern Grampians Shire residents can influence council's 2026/27 budget by reviewing and providing feedback on the proposed council plan year two priorities. This process is different from previous years where residents traditionally had an opportunity to provide submissions to a draft budget. Feedback closes at 4pm Wednesday, February 4, 2026.

In accordance with section 115 of the Local Government Act 2020, Northern Grampians Shire Council hereby gives notice of its intention to enter into a lease with the Stawell Athletic Club Inc. for use of the Hall of Fame, Central Park Reserve, Stawell with the purpose of sporting club use including associated functions and Interpretive Centre.
A person has a right to make a submission to the Council under Section 223 of the Local Government Act 1989 on the proposed lease and must do so in writing. Submissions are to be received by no later than 5pm Friday, 3 September 2021 and sent to: Chief Executive Officer Northern Grampians Shire Council PO Box 580 Stawell Vic 3380 Any submissions received must be considered by the Council and any person making a submission is entitled to state in the submission that he or she wishes to appear in person, or to be represented by a person specified in the submission, at a meeting to be heard in support of the submission. Please note that copies of submissions (including submitters’ names and addresses) will be made available at the Council meeting at which the proposal will be considered. The submission will form part of the minutes of the meeting which are made available on the Council's website.
