Council has four funding streams open for applications for eligible community, sporting and not-for-profit groups with suitable event, initiative or project ideas. Our Community Events Grant, Minor Support Grant, Community Events Sponsorship and Community Sponsorship are open until all available funds have been allocated.

Northern Grampians Shire Council undertook a Community Care Service Review between October 2025 and March 2026. It involved a thorough community engagement process with current clients, direct care workers, shire residents and their caregivers, and industry stakeholders to understand their current experiences, future needs and potential priorities for aged care and community support services.
This report is based on insights obtained during the formal community engagement process which included activities such as several councillor briefings and workshops, staff engagement, community and client surveys, place‑based engagement activities in the community, and targeted engagement with service providers and industry personnel.
The findings are intended to guide service review recommendations regarding the future of community care service delivery.
The report maps community feedback and provider perspectives, highlighting the issues most relevant to council’s deliberations and the questions that must be resolved.
