At December's council meeting in St Arnaud, council resolved to review future community care service options in light of sweeping aged care sector reforms. Council's Investment Policy is to set out guidelines for making decisions with respect to investing Council’s surplus funds to ensure that investments:● are made in accordance with s143 Local Government Act 1989● are made to maximise return on Council’s funds while maintaining an acceptable level of risk; and● to ensure that sufficient funds are available to service Council’s commitments.
