Following on from the success of our Northern Gramps Girls Can campaign last year where council lit up exercise spaces in the early mornings, several of the shire’s sporting facilities are due to light up again in 2026. Between May 4 and September 30, spaces in Stawell and St Arnaud will light up from 6pm to 7.30pm on Monday and Wednesday evenings, and from 6am and 7am on Wednesday mornings.

Grant amount: $5000
The funding will be used to take the next step in the hall's rejuvenation program aimed at improving the safety and aesthetic of the main hall. The aim is to make it a more inviting gathering place for the Concongella community to hold events, memorials and celebrations, much like it has done for many people in the past.
More specifically, this grant is focused on upgrading the dilapidated and unsafe hall ceiling with some repairs and a fresh coat of paint that will give the hall interior a far more pleasant and attractive look for all hall users.
