Buloke Northern Grampians Landcare Network

The Buloke & Northern Grampians Landcare Network (BNGLN) is a community‑led network of 18 Landcare and environmental groups working across the Buloke and Northern Grampians Shires. Established in 2002, the Network supports locals to care for 700,000 hectares of farmland, rivers, grasslands and high‑value biodiversity areas on Dja Dja Wurrung and Barengi Gadjin Country. Its work spans revegetation, biolinks, sustainable agriculture, citizen science, cultural collaboration and volunteer action — all aimed at building healthy landscapes and resilient rural communities.

Most importantly, none of this works without the local groups and volunteers. Their time, passion and local knowledge are what keep Landcare alive, and without them the Network simply wouldn’t exist.
