Council is creating a long-term plan for the Stawell Entertainment Centre to ensure it continues to meet the needs of the community for many years to come and better understand how people use the venue. A community survey is available until 5pm on Wednesday, September 30 for people to share their feedback and inform the future of the facility and the services and equipment available.

Join in on an evening of rich stories from a life in the African bush. Sights, sounds and tastes of Africa will be explored including the wildlife and cultures that make the continent so special. This evening in particular will aim to complete the second in the series (part 1 was held in 2025) of the journey with stories from South Africa, Namibia with Gorillas and Chimpanzees in Uganda.
Proceeds are in support of the Joylanders Academy/school in Kenya, which will enable the purchase of a water pump, some pipes and a tank, now to finish the project with the purchase of a solar system, another water tower and tank so water can be distributed through the school.
Includes traditional African dinner, BYO alcohol, soft drinks on sale.
