This engagement report is part of Northern Grampians Shire Council's commitment to reporting back to the community. It shows how we have listened, what we heard, and ultimately it will show how community input has helped shape the direction of the 2025-29 Council Plan and accompanying Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan.
This report summarises the key messages gathered through the organisation's engagement process for the development of the Council Plan, Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan, and associated resource plans such as the Asset Plan and Financial Plan.
The findings are drawn from survey responses — including free text comments — and community workshops. This report does not provide recommendations or responses; rather, it presents a summary of what community members and other stakeholders shared with us. The next step will involve councillors reviewing this feedback and using it to inform the development of the council’s four-year priorities. These priorities will be shaped by community aspirations, as well as the organisation’s capacity to deliver. The insights gathered through this engagement process will support councillors in making informed decisions as your elected representatives.
This report is only 23 pages long and summarises the full report insights. The much more detailed Full Engagement Report can be found below.
This report is 114 pages long and details all the data and insights council obtained via the various activities.
