The Stawell Aerodrome Advisory Group is established to provide advice to council on the implementation of the Stawell Aerodrome Master plan(, 0B), identify opportunities for long term economic investment in the aerodrome to benefit the region and support the strategic management and development of the aerodrome and its surrounds. The Queen Mary Botanic Gardens Advisory Group was first established by council on 27 May 1997 to care and manage the facilities at the Queen Mary Botanic Gardens and Pioneer Park in St Arnaud. The gardens are one of Victoria's fine 19th Century botanic gardens, and the group provides advice to council to ensure the gardens and park survive and flourish.
