Following on from the success of our Northern Gramps Girls Can campaign last year where council lit up exercise spaces in the early mornings, several of the shire’s sporting facilities are due to light up again in 2026. Between May 4 and September 30, spaces in Stawell and St Arnaud will light up from 6pm to 7.30pm on Monday and Wednesday evenings, and from 6am and 7am on Wednesday mornings.

Acacia Rise is an air-conditioned three bedroom home with all modern conveniences. Centrally located yet secluded; away from major roads and traffic. The main bedrooms each have queen size beds while the third bedroom has two single beds. High definition TV and DVD are provided in the lounge along with a wood heater (wood supplied), electric wall furnace and air-conditioning. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, gas stove and a fridge freezer with an additional fridge in the BBQ area for refreshments and extra storage. The bathroom contains a three person spa and shower with lots of hot water while laundry facilities include a full size washing machine. Outside facilities include swimming pool, BBQ, outdoor furniture all weather shelter and lots of shady trees and privacy.
