External grants to explore

At any one time there are hundreds of funding opportunities available to community groups and organisations; the problem is how to find them. Here are some of the most current and relevant grants currently on offer. 

 

Bulgana Green Power Hub Community Benefit Fund

Ararat Wind Farm Grants

The fund provides financial support to promote social and environmental sustainability initiatives for the benefit of the communities within the municipalities of Ararat, Northern Grampians and the Pyrenees.

Dyson Community Grants

The Dyson Group of Companies (The Funder) Community Support Program has been established to provide support to a range of community-based organisations providing services to the community of Victoria.

FRRR - Strengthening Rural Communities

OPEN: This program gives small rural, regional, and remote communities across Australia the opportunity to access funds that can benefit and help secure their future success.

Stawell Gold Mine Community Grants

OPENS IN NOVEMBER: The Community Grants Program provides grants to individuals or community groups for projects or activities that benefit the Stawell community.

FRRR - In a Good Place

CLOSED | This is a national grants program that provides support for rural community-driven initiatives that focus on strengthening mental health and wellbeing of vulnerable community members.

Community Bank Avoca and Maryborough and St Arnaud Community Grants

OPEN until 30 September 2025.
Bendigo Community Bank Avoca, Maryborough and St Arnaud fund their Community Grant program by channeling a portion of its profits back into the community that generated them often supporting those projects and activities that cannot be funded via other means.

Regional Arts Victoria Quick Response Grants

OPEN | Quick Response Grants funds professional development opportunities for artists and arts workers or small project opportunities.
