Council will advocate for aged care services in the municipality to be transitioned to local service providers, namely Grampians Community Health and East Wimmera Health Service, following a decision made at the July council meeting in Stawell. There are no immediate changes to any services for current clients and no action required for now.
Interested in becoming a rescue and transport volunteer at Wildlife Victoria? Rescuers attend to injured, sick, or orphaned native animals. They assess the situation and then (if needed) capture, contain, and then transport the animal to a vet. To be a rescuer you will need to be comfortable handling wild animals and liaising with members of the public. Step 1.
