Statutory Planning

Council’s statutory planners focus on the day-to-day application of the Planning Scheme, including the assessment and approval of planning permit applications. This includes evaluating proposals for new buildings, land use changes, or subdivisions to ensure they comply with established planning controls. Our statutory planners can assist with enquiries regarding planning permit applications and are also responsible for undertaking enforcement action where there has been a breach to the Planning Scheme.

Our online planning and building portal, called Greenlight, is your one-stop-shop for applying, amending or objecting to a planning permit. You can also submit a general enquiry via the portal which our team will respond to at an appropriate time.
